The Team

We are a family-run team, dedicated to ensuring your pet's final moments are filled with beauty, compassion, and gentle care, giving you the opportunity to cherish every moment together.

In 2018, we founded Mark The Home Vet, our original home visit veterinary practice. Over the years, we witnessed a deep, heartfelt need from pet owners who wished to say goodbye to their beloved companions in the comfort and safety of their own home.

While we always strived to meet these requests within Mark The Home Vet, it became increasingly clear that this service needed more focus and care. In 2024, we launched Dignified Pet Farewells to help more families offer their pets a peaceful and dignified farewell at home, with the compassion, empathy, and respect that both pets and their owners deserve

It all began with a simple idea—an idea rooted in my desire to provide the kind of compassionate care that first inspired me to become a veterinarian. That need was to offer pets better end of life care in their own homes, with a deep focus on empathy and understanding

Over the years, we saw an increasing need to provide a home euthanasia service for clients who share that same heartfelt desire: to give the very best to the pet who has been a beloved part of their life for so many years.

My own journey began in 2005, when I rescued Molly from Battersea Dogs Home. She became my loyal and devoted companion through countless adventures and difficult times. After leaving the RAF in 2015, Molly was my inspiration to pursue a career as a Veterinary Surgeon. Graduating in 2011, I worked in small animal clinics before founding Mark The Home Vet in 2018 a home visit veterinary practice aimed at providing compassionate care for pets in familiar surroundings.

In recent years, I have been privileged to help many families say goodbye to their pets in the peace and comfort of their own home. By 2024, it became clear that the demand for this compassionate service had grown beyond what we could manage within Mark The Home Vet. That's when Dignified Pet Farewells was created—to extend our empathetic and caring service to more families across a wider area, ensuring every pet receives a loving and dignified farewell.
